Information about Tax Free Childcare & 30 Hours Funding:
Devon County Council provide us with support and funding towards the cost of providing childcare. They have advice for parents and carers at www.devon.gov.uk/educationandfamilies/early-years-and-childcare.
You can also apply for funding via their website.
We are members of the Early Years Alliance and have adopted their Constitution. The membership includes insurance and legal advice. www.eyalliance.org.uk.

We work very closely with neighbouring Halwill Primary School and exchange regular visits so that the children become familiar with the school and teachers. Scallywags has their own garden area in the school grounds where we plant flowers and vegetables.

Halwill Primary School is part of The Carey Federation (with Ashwater Primary School). Their website is https://www.thecareyfederation.co.uk/
Halwill Parent and Toddler Group currently meet on Monday mornings in the Halwill Baptist Church Hall between 9.45am and 12 noon (term time).
This group is a stay and play session for children aged from birth to 5 years. Parents, grandparents, carers and mums-to-be all welcome.
Activities, crafts and plenty of toys. Snacks provided. £1.50 per session. (Under 6 months & siblings £1)
